| Anecdote* | | Charles Arthur Pinckney, Stanley's grandfather was also in the logging business early on and also built and ran the Pinckney Cabins, which also included gas pumps and a restaurant, located right across the road from their home in Columbia, Coos, NH. It was right next to Sim's Stream. In the fifties, after many years of running the Cabins Charlie filed for bankruptcy and lost the Cabins and I believe the family home as well. After Charlie passed away he was buried in the Colebrook Village Cemetery. |
